SpatialChat is a virtual event platform that allows users to create and join virtual rooms where they can interact with others via video, audio, and chat. The platform uses spatial audio technology to replicate the experience of being in a physical space.
I am responsible for creating the design for the web-based platform. To ensure the best user experience, you work with hypotheses based on both quality and quantity analytics. This means that I analyze user behavior and engagement data, as well as qualitative feedback, to inform my design decisions.

Creating private areas
The addition of private areas has directly impacted several key user metrics, including user involvement, user satisfaction, and sales of the new Team plan. Users are now spending more time on the platform and engaging in more meaningful conversations, which has led to an increase in user satisfaction and retention. The new Team plan, which includes private areas as well as other advanced features and benefits tailored to teams and organizations, has proven to be an effective way to drive sales and revenue for SpatialChat, as users are willing to pay for the added value and benefits.

User experience improvement
As a product designer with SpatialChat, I collaborate with developers to create a variety of features such as space templates, improved login flows, search functionality, and custom avatars. My goal is to create virtual spaces that showcase products effectively and provide a seamless experience for users, resulting in a more functional and visually appealing platform.
Some of the features I have worked on include space templates, improved user login flows, search functionality for finding other users, the ability to add files, and creating custom avatars and other elements.
